Floor tiles are generally thicker, so they can withstand foot traffic and other impacts. Wall tiles are thinner and lighter to make them easier to adhere to the vertical surface.

Although the products you need are publicly available, we recommend getting a professional to perform the work to avoid creating an uneven surface or unstable render. Many of the cement components are also potentially hazardous without proper protective equipment.

Under the Australian Building Code and Australian standards (AS 3740-1994), you are required to have some form of waterproofing in areas of your home with plumbed-in devices. This includes kitchens, bathrooms, toilets and laundries. Not doing so may result in fines, but also increases your chance of water damage in your foundations.

Our business is based in Palm Cove, but we service all areas of Cairns. If you are outside of Cairns, and require quality tiling for your project, please call us and we may be able to travel to you.

Our team makes use of two main brands for our tiling glues, those are Ardex and MCB.
